Sorry Babe

So, in one of my previous posts I had ripped on Jake's music... babe it's not bad, it just definitely does not invite the spirit; if you know what I mean! I love you and I love that you love music as much if not more than I!

Even if it is Rap or Hip Hop!

Jake is starting his fourth year teaching at the U this fall. Who would have that with the initial invite to only teach one year that this would turn into a love affair (one of which I am happy with ;))

He has decided that teaching is what he will pursue in the future, looking to go full time, there will definitely be some major life changes most likely in the future. We are all looking forward to that and can't wait to see where this journey takes us!

He will also be adding a Architecture+history class this spring which he is really excited about. He will get to display some of his love and knowledge that he acquired in India as the history will be focusing on Middle Eastern Arch.

He is a very busy man, a wonderful dad, and a doting husband! Truly amazing, with an amazing talent and gift!

Well another crazy year it has been; lessons learned, marriage strengthened and kids continue to grow like wild flowers! Life as we know it is crazy busy and great!

School is in full swing at the Gines' res. Not only did Jake start his fourth year teaching at the U, but I also started my Bachelor's this fall, and Kenzie and Holden started first and second grade, that's right. Dash is the only lucky duck to enjoy the wonderful world of easy livin! And that he deserves.

So with that being said, here is a little update on me. I began this fall in the ESS program at the U of U (go utes), otherwise known as Exercise and Sports Science. I graduated with my Associates from UVU last fall with HONORS, that's right, never thought that would happen, but I'm quite proud of it! I love being in school and can't wait to learn more! Why did I wait so long? (Oh wait, I remember, my wonderful kiddo's!)

I have class on T/TH morning and night, things are definitely a juggle at times, but with an amazing hubby, it is working quite smoothly!

Other than that, life just keeps moving, we keep growing and we are in a very happy place!

I am officially eight years old, I just got baptized and became an official member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! I am in second grade and I love, love, love school. I have to say that I almost always get 100% on every test, I love math and am the smartest in my class, well besides Scotty my friend! I love my new teacher Mrs. Bello.

I love to make up dances, and songs and I am constantly pretending to be Hanna Montana or Celine Dion, performing on stage!

I am learning to deal with my little brother Holden who is a constant tease these days (he's pretty funny most of the time)!

I love being a big sister especially to Dashel who makes me laugh! I always want to hold him, especially if someone else is, that is when I take over and steal him away!

I am officially in 1st grade, I am also 6 years old!!! I am still crazy, loud, obnoxious, sweet and a big giant tease all at the same time! I love to tease my sister and scare my baby brother... mom get's really mad at me when I do this, but it is just so funny that I can't help it.

Recess is still my favorite time of the day! Mostly b/c we get to go outside and play, unless it's raining... then we have to stay inside, that is not very fun. I love my teachers Mrs. Alba and Mrs. Manning. Mrs. Alba is my spanish teacher, that's right... I am getting so smart because I started Spanish Emersion this year and I already know lots of stuff, like songs and the months of the year. All the colors, and days of the week. Mrs. Manning is my English teacher, she is really nice and has helped me with my reading!

Someday I want to be a paleontologist, gemologist. I love dinosaurs and jewels. I love to read books and watch Fineas and Ferb (when my mom let's me).

I'm still my mom's little snuggle bug, but don't tell her that I like to do it too... especially in the morning when I first wake up!

I am the cutest one in my family or so everyone tells me! I love to make everyone smile, and all I have to do is kiss them, smile at them, or well, do just about anything. They are always hugging and kissing me and can't seem to keep their hands off me. I love it though!

I am finally walking all over! I know, I know, but what can I say, when I have four people at my beckon call, I just wasn't really willing to give that up! But on to bigger and better things.

I am now 21 months old, I am super cute with lots of blonde curls that make the girls whoo, and I have bright blue eyes. My mom likes to try to get me to eat lot's of foods, but don't tell her I like to pretend I'm picky, it drives her crazy!

I am a huge Utah Fan, biggest one in the family! And I love to play ball, vroom cars, and play on the swing set! I have to say, life is pretty good these days... shhhhhhh I'd like to keep it that way ;)
